I hate to be the one to tell you this, but there isn't a scanner around that catches everything. This is virus, malware, Trojan, or rootkit. That is why there is more than 1 company out there selling their products.Personally I have 3 malware scanner that I use. One for everyday, the other 2 about once a month. I also have 2 virus and 2 Trojan scanners.
My homes are SpywareHammer.com and DonHoover.net and BleepingComputer.com

Hi!and this was the only thing found by XoftSpy? Registry value location: Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Policies \System\DisableTaskmgrProbably a dead registry entry or most probably a false positives. Consider that XoftSpy is quite known to generate false positives and it used this strategy to sell their products.See here: http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_...e.htm#xos_noteI would personally look for a better alternative for an antispyware, such as, ewido anti-spyware or superantispyware (its even FREE).Cheers,Fax

Hi!indeed you are a special case But for a normal users is generally not recommended to run 2 antivirusat the same time (on access). This can generate conflicts and malfunctions. The same applieswith certain antispyware/anti-malware like Spyware Doctor, SpySweeper, Trojan Hunter,etc...So, if you want run the full ZASS 7 AV/AS be sure you are not running anything else realtime, or if you are, check they everything is working correctly. Incompatibilities are always behind the door, most of all with most recentsecurity suites (not just ZASS).If you know what you are doing, you can run as many security tools you want granted you are able to set them to work only 'on demand'.And some antispyware, antivirus, anti-malware are not easy to set only 'on demand' unless you stop all related 'hidden' services.Hope this helps,Fax

Uuuhm, I don't understand...Is it a a reply to my post? And of course, one scanner may be not enough, KAV usually have between 90 to 99% detection on malware sample...So, there is always a possibility to get infected But adding 'bad' applications will not help to increase your protection.Cheers,Fax
