    I would agree if that were the choice here. But it isn't.

    There are a number of anti-spyware/anti-malware products out there including several free ones (e.g., AdAware and SpyBot) which do a better job than ZA's. The choice is not ZA's or nothing, but a less than satisfactory ZA, or other better alternatives.

    And, as Tupaia properly noted, in ZA's case the repeated false alarms are causing many of us to waste time and some to get upset fearing the worst and take actions which are NOT necessary.

    See the grief caused by the LATEST false positive involving oem8.pnf being identified as a trojan.
