Default Nirsoft zipinst.exe incorrectly reported as Win32.PassView

    Hi,

Zone alarm incorrectly reports a valid zipinst.exe in C:\Windows

    as Win32.PassView.

In this case, it is nirsoft's free installer for zipfiles with no installation package.

Please could you do a more careful signature or hash code check to stop this false detection?

Meanwhile, I run a bat file to put it back if I forget what ZoneAlarm has done, or, better, turn Zone Alarm's antispyware off.

    ZoneAlarm Pro version:7.0.337.000

    TrueVector version:7.0.337.000

    Driver version:7.0.337.000

    Anti-spyware engine version:5.0.172.0

    Anti-spyware signature DAT file version:01.200708.221

    Thanks!

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro

Hi!your AS DAT may be outdated... could you please try to update it?We are at: 01.200708.2275

If you still have this false detection, please report it directly to ZA, providing as much details as possible including where they could download the package.
