    Default Insufficient Memory

For several weeks I have been getting an issue where DOS Window apppears and quickly disappears.
The window contians a message "Insufficient Memory " to un program "X".
In my case x so far is hpgs2wnf.exe - HP shareware program which I uninstalled to fix because it occured every time I opened a file and slowed the machine down.
The same occurs with DSLMON.LNK which could affect my Internet connection as it is for broadband modem.

I have checked memory usage and it seems fine.

Both programs are 64K.....not less which may be significant.
I think the problem is to do with memory resident programs and may weel have started after a zone alarm upgrade.

Any idea how I can fix it without getting into worse trouble??

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Try running SpyBot Search and Destroy. This may give you some clues as to what's going on.

When run in advanced mode (which you need to specifically select), there is an option under "Tools/System Startup" which shows you which programs are run at startup. It accesses a database of known programs and tells you whether programs are required or optional. You can disable autoloading of programs temporarily (for testing) or permanently.
