    Default Trojan.Win32.Agent.bnx and Uninstall_CDS.exe

    yesterday ZA antivirus has found this virus
    on my PC:
    in the file Uninstall_CDS.exe under C:\Program Files\ and C:\System Volume Information\_restore{...}
    I havent found any info about this virus, just wondering whether it's a real virus or a false positive.
    Is there anybody who has had the same problem?
    My ZA version is 7.0.408.000, the anti virus engine is 20070920002000

    Hi!the file is located in your backup directory (i.e. system restore points)If it has not been found in your active directories it means that the application is not anymore in your system and the file is a dormant piece of malware from the past.I would personally refresh your restore points...1. Disable system restore;2. Reboot your PC;3. Ensable System restoreHow to disable windows SYSTEM RESTORE:,Fax

    I had the same virus in
    C: \System Volume Information\_restore

    and it was auto quarantined.
    I read that it could only be deleted
    while in
    safe mode but didn't have that problem.
    I'd like to know how my PC got infected in the first place if anyone knows.

    I'm also running spybot and spywareblaster but only scan with spybot twice a week.
