    Default gibberish or malware???

While doing a routine review, I found the following on my program control list. This is not the complete name, because some of the characters won't reproduce here. t

    File name rj rj 0 > >

As far as I know, it's never tried to access anything. Anyone have any idea what it may be?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)

    Hi!
have you tried to left click on it and choose properties?

If it will come back with 'file not found', it is not anymore on your system and you can safely remove it.
May be you have problems with the ZA settings that may be corrupted.

If you need to reset the ZA setting, please do the following:

1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

The above only works with ZA 7.0.462 and later versions.

    Cheers,
    Fax

Hi and thanks for your quick reply.
I'm not getting any response when I left click on it, except that in the Entry Detail box which says

    Product name
    File name rj rj 0 > >
    Last policy update Not applicable
    Version
    Last modified date
    File size 0 KB

and as I noted, all the characters aren't in what you see above.
I hope I'm explaining this right... but because of the unprintable characters I can't even do a search for the file.

    Ah! Sorry...
Probably its not in the free version... never used it.
Well, then try to remove it and see if it comes back.
