Default Rootkit.Win32.TDSS.dbg. Does anyone know what this is and how to remove it and other questions?

My Zone Alarm scan revealed that I had

    Rootkit.Win32.TDSS.dbg.

It said that it could not be fixed or quarantined. What should I do? Can it be removed? Is my
laptop now useless for important personal info or shoud I stop using it all around? How does this even happen when I wasn't even on the internet when the scan said I had it? I was working on a print job on my wireless printer.

    Operating System:Windows Vista Home Basic
    Software Version:7.1 (Vista)
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
