Virut.ce is not a new virus and is recognised by Zone Alarm whan scanning the computer so why did it get through?

The link you gave was for spyware - is this classed as spyware?

Hi!the link is valid both for spyware and viruses.Antivirus engine in ZA is provided by Kaspersky. No idea why you got infected...:8}Or may be its just a false positive or may be you did not got infected and it was a left over. May be your ZA is corrupted? May be you are running multiple antivirus (this can block the correct functioning of the tools)? Who knows there can be hundreds of possible explanations.Check your system as suggested here, just to be sure you are clean:http://forum.zonelabs.org/zonelabs/b...essage.id=3787Please note that ZA staff does not monitor this board, we are all users here.To contact ZA technical support you need to write to: www.zonealarm.com/tsform Cheers,Fax
