*Update 2 (18/03/2009 16:59)*: Downloaded the most recent Anti-virus updates (DAT file version 980560943) and ZoneAlarm no longer detects this file as malware.
*Update (18/03/2009 13:55)*: Received email from Kaspersky confirming that the detection was indeed a false positive and that it would be fixed in the next update.
After updating my Anti-virus\Anti-spyware definitions this morning ZoneAlarm detected the following during a scan:
Packed.Win32.Katusha.b was found in C:\WINDOWS\assembly\NativeImages_v2.0.50727_32\Mic rosoft.Transacti#\1820d6a012fc0e16c3e1d29d973cd2d0 \Microsoft.Transactions.Bridge.Dtc.ni.dll on 18/03/2009 11:18:22
This file was detected as a threat on both of my computers and I believe (if it is legitimate) it is part of Microsoft's .NET Framework. I uploaded the file to VirusTotal.com and it is only detected as malware by Kaspersky. I have sent the file in question to Kaspersky for further analysis. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if I should take any further steps.
