On Thursday last week (4/16/09) I reformatted my machine and reinstalled Windows XP SP3 and ZoneAlarm ISS. This was my annual HD wipe and reinstall routine just to keep Windows running smoothly.

On Sunday (4/19/09) I got the false positive for the malware in the title in that affected many virus software providers including ZoneLabs. Since I already had everything backed up for the reinstall of Windows I played it safe on Sunday morning (before it was confirmed a false positive) and just wiped the machine again and waited for it to be resolved.

I reinstalled Windows XP SP3 today (4/21/09) and did all the Windows Updates, as well as reinstalled ZoneAlarm ISS and updated it. I can confirm that it no longer gives the false positive that was experienced this Sunday (4/19/09).
