My brother's computer (running ZA Security Suite) has apparently acquired Win32.BRONTOK. At least that is what the message from Windows FireWall claims.
Something is certainly amiss. He cannot start FireFox or IE. He cannot run Windows Search (clicking on "all files and folders" closes the search window.
He tried running: AntiBrontokA-en.exe and it identified and removed a "virus hook" in memory but it could not perform its scan (giving a "Can't write memory..." error.
He can receive emails, and I can send him a file via Skype.
Is there anything that effectively removes Win32.BRONTOK?
