    Default New Network?

ZA informs me it has found a new network connection. It is placed in the 'keep in internet zone'. The type is 'Public Network Detected'. It also gives an IP address. It also asks if I want to name it.Now, I'm confused. My computer is not ona network. What don't I know, and what should I do, if anything? I'm not real technical andI mostly ignore ZA knowing it is doing it's job.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro

Hiimready and welcome to the Forum. If you want to share resources with-for example, the other machines on your local or home network you have to put the network in the Trusted Zone. Otherwise you have to keep it in the Internet Zone.If you just want to block any new zones then go to advanced button in the firewall section in ZA and check the box that say "Exclude networks from the trusted zone upon detection" now everything will be placed in the Internet Zone by default.
