Default sethc.exe? Anyone know about this?

I had sethc.exe come up in my programs alert this afternoon.
It is weird nothing but the program field
and the type "Unkown" is populated in the alert.
Can someone tell me what this is?
After looking on google, all I see are refernces to gaining access to someones computer and I am a little worried.
    Thanks, Travers

    Hi,

If it was me, I would run a few free online scans for viruses, etc. and then I would go to the following site and have them run HJT (highjackthis) tool to make sure there is NO BUGS in the computer.
These people are highly trained and VERY EXCELLENT. PLEASE post back your results.

Thanks, I have run Search and Destroy and a virus scan and noting is coming up.
When I do a search on my hardrive it comes up as SETHC.EXE-OD6CE1BC in c:Windows\Prefetch.
    Anyone else with any thoughts?

    Hi,

BTW, Search and Destroy and is NOT HJT (HighJackThis) tool.
    NOT EVEN CLOSE!
    But, that's your decision.
Anyway, you can always go into the Prefetch folder and delete the entries, reboot, and see if it shows up again in there.
Perhaps someone else in this forum might be able to come up with a better solution to your problem.

Looks like I found the answer.
My wife had hit the shift key 5 times causing the sethc.exe to avtivate and the box to access tools comes up.
If this doesn't sound right to someone let me know.
