    Default Screen size change??

I notice occasionally when opening my computer that the screen size has changed. It don't happen that often but I now find myself wondering why it has changed. I have a 19 inch monitor and open Windows to fill my screen. I found my screen size (viewing)to be about 14 inches this AM when I turned my computer on and this with the settings being save as I always do when logging off the previous evening. (automatically)

My question is ...is this screen size change any indication that there's "snooping" or some other privacy concern that I should be aware of? I live alone and no other person has access to this computer and the fact that the viewing size (windows) from 19 in. to 14 in change has me puzzled.

When you go to resize the window, are the settings the way you left them?

When resizing, I just use my mouse (drag) to enlarge the viewing area.
