    Default Loopback adapter changed to "Trusted Zone" - and I didn't do it.

    Hello,

    When I woke this morning and checked my firewall zone settings, I found that my loopback adapter setting (127.0.0.1) had been changed from "Internet" to "Trusted". Also, I noticed that the totals for blocked access attempts and intrusions have now become stable, when they had been going up continuously; could it be that hackers have now somehow gained access to my PC without ZA's notice?

    I have changed my setting for the loopback adapter back to the Internet zone, but would appreciate any advice you might have. Thank you.

    Try resetting your database and see if that will fix it. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode. {Instructions if needed}
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4.Reboot into the normal mode.

    Just noticed the querie about the Loopback adapter. I didnt realise it was supossed to be in the Internet zone. I just checked to see and mine is also in the Trusted zone. Why is it an issue and how will it effect me if i dont put it in the Internet Zone?
    Many thanks,
