I don
t know if this is the rightforum but here is my question. My PC was infected with a trojan that among other things did the following:

"Thetrojan opens up aSOCKS proxy on a random port between 1000 and 10000. This allows for the forwarding of Internet traffic."

What is a SOCKS proxy?

Is there any way I can find out if the SOCKS proxy still is on my computer?
