    Default message to tech support

    I posted a message this morning with hope that tech support would help me.
    I have had no reply up to now....the response seems a bit slow for me.
    My zonealarm TrueVector Services is shutting down continuously.
    I really need your help...with this please?

    Hi,

    I AM NOT Tech Support, but I will try to help you.

    If this behavior is new and you've not changed other programs, then I think Zone Alarm is not recognizing your program permissions and you should reset them. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode. {Instructions if needed}
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4. Reboot into the normal mode.

    Thank you Slyfox that done the trick...TrueVector services have not crashed since and I gave it ample time to do so before I posted back here.
    I really got worried because of the many viruses on the net today. Zonealarm has been working for me for several years and I wouldn't surf without it
