    Default IP Address blocked but messages still get thru. Why?

    Hi I have a trial version of Security Suite and have blocked messages originating from a specific I P address but I continue to receive messages from this IP.Any idea why and how can I stop these messages?System: P3 - XP pro, Office 2003, Mozilla and Thunderbird email client

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:6.5

    Hello Devinder,

    Well, first a stupid question. You did enter the IP under the Firewall tab and then clicked on the 'Apply' button before you closed ZA?

    Also, you say you entered a specific IP, but still continue to receive messages from this IP, but if what you mean is that you entered a specific IP and still received messages from the same sender, perhaps you should enter an IP range as the sender may be using a different IP.

    Next, what type of messages are you receiving? Are you refering to instant messaging, e-mail, or something else?

    Are there entries in your ZA logs referring to the IP address?

    More information is needed in order to help you.
