Default Incoming Program Access to svchost from ISP DNS Server Blocked

I get log entries about this periodically. They are rated as Medium. Can anyone enlighten me as to whether this could be a legitimate threat, or should these be allowed through the firewall?

Default Re: Incoming Program Access to svchost from ISP DNS Server Blocked

    Hi,

I also am wondering why ZAlarm would be blocking svchost from accessing my ISP (optimum online). I spoke to one of their representatives & he said that their server needs to communicate with my system to assign/re-assign IP addresses.

I'm also wondering if this blocking is related to my extremely
poor response time (page loads can
be anywhere from instantaneous to seemingly never-ending
    -- 100% cpu usage.

I have no viruses on the machine; I recently restored Windows XP SP1 and downloaded SP2; and
    while my
    RAM is only
    256MBytes, my
    pagefile.sys is defined as 512-1024

    Any response would be appreciated.
