    Default HTTP_REFERER whats that?

    Hi to all,

Recently I have visited a web page and tried to create a user account. After giving the info
by clicking the go link i got the message:

Warning: your browser doesn't send the HTTP_REFERER header to the website.
This can be caused due to your browser, using a proxy server or your firewall.
Please change browser or turn off the use of a proxy
or turn off the 'Deny servers to trace web browsing' in your firewall
and you shouldn't have problems when sending a POST on this website.

I dont use a proxy and Icould not find in ZoneAlarm how to turn off the option

Deny servers to trace web browsing

could anyone tell me what to do???

    Pls advise

    Thsnks for your help

    regards
    sofia

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Enabling the Private header in the site (and related sites also) listed in the Site list in the Privacy in the ZA.This will allow for the Referer (called private header in the ZA).

Please allow for the Temporary and Persistant Cookies also. The java and javascripts should also be allowed.

Ror the site to be used for the login, please uncheck all the Options in the Mobile Code as well (just right click the site listed in the Listing and selct Options).

Browser settings and types of browsers can affect this also. The java and javascripts in browsers such as FireFox and Opera should be enabled.

    Hope this helps you!

I am getting this same error when I am trying to post in the forums on my website.
I have disabled cookie controle all together and still comes up.
Is there any other way because I am tuning off ZA to be able to post anything.
    Thanks
