Default Networked Computer hacked, Am I hackable now?

Recently I have been worried my wireless networked computer in the other room will become hacked. My computer, which has all the Norton/Zone alarm and spyware programs and which has the actual router is fine.
Just wondering if the networked computer in the other room running off my router is hacked, are they now accessible to my computers files and info?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro
    Software Version:6.5

Wireless networking is far less secure than wired. The danger is that if the network is open, people can use your network to access the internet and you're the one that gets traced by the police for their actions. If you have shared folders you may also be at risk.

Check out my post here for some tips:-

With W2K and XP Pro you should change the security permissions of disks, folders and files by deleting the "everyone" option and replacing it with the "Authenicated user" option. This is Microsoft's help for setting folder permissions if you don't already know how to do this:-
