Default Are intrusions less with the newest ZoneAlarm update?

After updating my ZoneAlarm to the most recent update

    ZoneAlarm Security Suite version:6.5.737.000
    TrueVector version:6.5.737.000
    Driver version:6.5.737.000
    Anti-virus Vet engine version:11.9.1.000
    Anti-virus signature DAT file version:11.9.9815.000
    Anti-spyware engine version:5.0.83.0
    Anti-spyware signature DAT file version:01.200612.715
    AntiSpam version:4.8.2.7565

I noticed that I have been getting absolutely NO INTRUSIONS on my system. Does this mean that the newest version is working BETTER or is the newest ZoneAlarm update ALLOWING intrusions easier unbeknown by me? Before, I was receiving multiple intrusions or "scans" regularly as I worked on my computer; now I receive none.

    Companion

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:6.5

See my post below about "INTRUSIONS". It doesn't answer your question, but it explains a lot about the issues you are concerned about.

Do you use dialup or DSL/cable, and if the latter, do you use a router now that you weren't using before?
