Default Access to tinyurl.com blocked

    Using ZA 8 on XPsp3 with IE7
When somebody posts a tinyurl such as http://tinyurl.com/xxxxxx
I get "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage"If I shut ZA off I can get there, but I am reluctant to be unprotected.
    I have added http://tinyurl.com
to the trusted zone andnow can get to the tinyurl home page, but any attempt to add the "/xxxxxx" gets me back to the same "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage" again.
How can I get tinyurl out of whatever limbo it is in?

I see from other postings (which I should have read first) that I need to add tinyurl to my exclusions list.
Please tell me how to do so.
Help says to find it in the log, but I can't find the log where it is.

The "alerts and logs" entry doesn't show anything from tinyurl (or at least nothing I can identify as tinyurl).

Thanks Findley, Thats the post I should have read first.
I had done a search on "tinyurl" which came up empth.
I later found that the search needed to be for "tinyurl.com" which found that post among others.
However, I agree, I don't want to disable spyware checking, just get to tinyurl.

    richgre,

You're welcome and yes, disabling spysite blocker to get tinyurl isn't a wise choice given it's reputation.

TUNYURL.COM: The solution

Here is the way to get back access to tinyurl.com and other sites that ZA is blocking as spyware sites that you want to get to. This is adapted and expanded from a response I got from ZA tech support (thanks Jeremy).

1. Open the ZA Control Center.

2. Select "Anti-spyware", then select "Spy Site Blocking". If you see "tinyurl.com" in the "Blocked Sites" list, skip the next step.

3. If you DON'T see "tinyurl.com" in the "Blocked Sites" list, close the ZA Control Center. In your browser, try to go to a tinyurl. If you don't have a real one handy, try: http://tinyurl.com/qwerty. When ZA pops up its blocked site notice, click on "details". The ZA Control Center will open to the "Blocked Sites" list.

4. Left click on the red "X" on the tinyurl line and select "allow". Close the ZA Control Center and you are done.

5. If a tinyurl address leads you to a spyware site, don't blame me. As a safety measure, you can use the preview feature of tinyurl at http://tinyurl.com/preview.php or just add "preview." ahead of "tinyurl" in your browser's address bar before going to the site.
    i.e: http://preview.tinyurl.com/qwerty
