    Default Zone alarm Scan screen freezes up

    While doing a antispyware scan, the scan screen indicated that it was still scanning, but the elapsed time didn't change and the same file was displayed . The file that was constantly displayed was: win32.worm.swimnag.280064a.dll.
    It had just successfully completed an antivirus scan.

    I tried to shut down the process, but there was no response. I finally shutoff Zone Alarm and proceeded to rescan. The program froze halfway thru the antivirus scan, with the same file displayed. Is this a program problem, or do I have a virus/

    It sounds like your Computer may be infected with Malware that is blocking ZA Anti-Virus Scan..Try to perform a full Antivirus/Antispyware scan but in SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING.

    1. Disable system restore;2. Set ZA antispyware to "Deep inspection scan" under the advanced options on ZA antivirus/antispyware tab (detection);
    4. Manual run ZASS (ZA firewall will be OFF but Antivirus/Antispyware will be functional);
    5. Run a full ZA AV/AS scan;
    5. Reboot in Normal Mode
    6. Set ZA antispyware back to recommended settings ("Intelligent quick scan")7. Ensable System restore
