Thread: Ports were closed...now open

    Default Ports were closed...now open

    I was having some problems with websites popping up that I had not selected. I re-checked my security at ShieldsUP. I noticed that ports 135 and 1027 are now open. How could this have happened and how do I fix it?

    Anyone? After finding a trojan horse, I re-installed the ZoneAlarm. I checked it on ShieldsUP and it was secure. Now I go back online and find out it's not secure. Now ports 135 and 1025 are wide open. Why is the software so messed up now?

    Default The correction answer is....

    Make sure you have Server - Internet set to "Ask?" on each of the options under Program Control.
