    Default DEBUG options

I am reading FAX reply to a user and decided to reset. There was an option with different settings for Debugging ,2 were set to default which is what all my settings are set for. However, I did not know what Numbers I should set the other options. I never completed the re-setting because a dialog box advised to only do it under Tech support advice. What is the optimal settings I should chose? Grandmere

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition

Set debug level controls amount of information input to tvDebug and is only needed to be remitted to the ZoneAlarm technical service if you experience issues with ZoneAlarm.

This is an old post, but I think it still applies.

ZoneAlarm technical service would use tvDebug.log locate in C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs for the sole purpose of troubleshooting issues with ZoneAlarm. You should not be concern about Set debug level unless requested by ZoneAlarm technical service .

My Dialog Box shows the following and should be left at default unless requested by ZA.

    debug cat. default
    dump flags 8
    AV logging default
    Antispam 1

Don't get the Reset and Set debug level confuse.

If your ZA settings got corrupted. Reset this way :

1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

I'm a dodo when it comes to P.C. issues but I know that the Debug and Reset options are separate. When I tried to reset, the dialog box gave me a warning that I shouldn't change the settings , therefore my hesitation to proceed.
I'll go ahead and be daring. Thank you so much.
