Default Why does New Network keep popping up?

(I have a cable modem and a Linksys router)
Every now and then I have to accept a "New Network".
Nothing has changed, I didn't turn off the router or add any new hardware.

I see that it is my local LAN that I originally set up (same IP addr)
so I set to Trusted, but I name it something different.
Now in the Firewall/Zones panel it is always changing.
There will be MyNet1, then it changes to MyNet2, etc.
These are all the same IP.
    Does anyone else get this?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

Maybe this could work for you.

How to Configure ZoneAlarm when it continues to detect new networks at this link :!PAGETYPE?sc=19&sf=101133&doc umentid=347109&action=view

I have no other suggestion other than this to resolve your issue.

Ok thank you, I didn't know that option was in there.
But still, I don't think I will use it to just blatently
    "trust" or internet"
    all new networks.
I don't think ZA should be constantly "switching" networks.
If it keeps bugging me I will contact ZA support.
    Thanks again for you help.

Hi!this is usually an indication of corrupted ZA settings. Running other security tools? Been infected recently?Have experience crash/hang or forced a shutdown of the PC? Are you running the latest ZASS version 8.400.020?If your problem is not resolved by other means then try simply to reset.1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after rebootIf the above will not work I can suggest a complere checkup including malware check , cleaning of registry and removal of other tools than ZASS.Cheers,Fax
