I often look through my log files for my firewall just to see what is going on really - to see if there is any unusal activity than usual - and I stumbled across a couple (not a lot, just three or four) of outgoing connections from my PC to a DNS listed as "crl.verisign.net" (NB: these are the only outgoing connections in my logs. All the other log entries are incoming connections.)
I'm just wondering what to do about it? The log entry shows that the outgoing connection is blocked (and when I click on "more info"; SmartDefence advisor says there is no breach in my PC security) there are no associated file(s) with the outgoing connection attempt. As I've said before, these are not frequent - just occasional. A minority of them occur when I am not using the PC at all.
Should I be worried and investigate this further? Or just leave it since the connections are being blocked anyway?
