Default Outlook Problems and Failure to print

Hi Everyone - I am a newcomer to the Forum and need advice desperately!
Since reinstalling Zone Alarm (I had it on my computer, then purchased Kaspersky and everything on my PC went beserk so I returned Kaspersky and went back to Zone Alarm), Outlook has malfunctioned continuously (crashing mainly), my internet access keeps getting turned off (I clearly don't know how to configure Zone Alarm so that this doesn't happen), and even worse - if that's possible - my printer (Panasonic DP1520) now doesn't work and I can't print anything!
I can't get anyone out to sort this all out for me before Tuesday and I need my PC and printer desperately for urgent work asap.
    Please can anyone help???
    Many thanksLoriB

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)

Did you make sure that Kaspersky was fully uninstalled? Also did you do a clean install of ZA?

    Thank you.
Unfortunately, too many problems arose between my posting that message and receiving your reply and as I use my computer for my work and had already lost 4 days of effective use, it became crucial for me to get on
so I had to ditch Zone Alarm in the end.
I have now gone back to Norton which I know doesn't cause me problems.
