Default Memory Conflicts With Programs

Hello,
I am trying to play Doom 3 and it has a memory conflict with ZoneAlarm.
Does anyone know how to work around this problem?
Thanks if you can give me any advice.

Thank You for your Feedback and Added Information..I looks like a lot of your Programs are old and Not updated..1.) primarily your Old WinXP SP1, has a new SP2 available that provided 100's of Bug Fixes to Win XP Both for Memory usage and Security Bugs..2.) Your Nvidia 6800 Video Card , may have some new Video drivers available.. Here is several ZA Forum Links to Solutions to Problems with Nvidia 6800..http://forum.zonelabs.org/zonelabs/s...p;page_size=103.) Your Version of ZAFree 6.5.737.000 is very old, and still works well as a Basic Firewall,But I know there have been lots of problems with the Gaming Mode losing Focus, and the Fix has Only resently been fixed in the 7.0.408.000 ZASS versionI'm not sure about the Free version..

Well I have found that most of what Microsoft fixes with service packs and updates also come with more problems. Up to this point I have had to roll back my machine several times from the original Service Pack 2. Due to that so I am a little skeptical of a new service pack 2 however XP is good and established I may try it.
I have very many versions of the drivers for my video card I like to play both new and old games alike and sometimes the older driver will work when the newer version wont. I know that my problem is doom 3/zonealarm related because the game works if zonealarm is off. I had seen quite a few messages related to that on some game forums but they didnt have a solution for keeping the firewall on. I am paranoid enough not to play the game with the firewall off so I was hoping this had maybe been recognised by ZoneAlarm and some fix was available.
You are right, my version is a great basic firewall and that is all I want. I think its a shame you cant get a basic anything most of the time, so I am very happy I found out about ZoneAlarm before they bell and whistled it to death. I did upgrade to the new version for about 10 minutes, oh well.
Thanks for your kind and considered response
