I have a (client-side) firewall configuration problem with Office
Communicator that I can't seem to resolve. I've looked around for fixes and
tried different things, but without success. So I'm hoping someone here can
Office Communicator can't connect to the server to sign me in if I have the
Zone Alarm firewall running, but it works fine if I shutdown the firewall.
Both NetMeeting and Windows Live Messenger work fine with the firewall, only
Office Communicator is having problems, and I don't know what configuration
changes would resolve the issue (obviously, removing the firewall is out of
I'm running Window XP SP2, ZoneAlarm Pro v7, and Office Communicator 2005
(connecting to the corporate server on the LAN).
Any help to finaly resolve this would be grealty appreciated...
