Default Remote Access to Configuring ZA

Hi there I have the latest free ZA on a machine and
I have just purchased I copy of the ZA Security suite.
I have been using Teamviewer to remote access a pc with ZA on but I need to be able to configure ZA via the remote link.
I have searched the forum and there are a few links but when I go thru ZA I can't seem to find it.
Can someone tell me how to access ZA remotely.
    cheers

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)

Hey I was fighting the same problem... Finally found the answer. These steps must be done on the "local system" to enable you to access and configure ZA via Teamviewer.
    1. Restore Zone Alarm Control Center on the target system.2. Click the "Overview"
Tab on the left.3. In the "General" section on the right, remove the check mark on "Protect the Zone Alarm Client"
You now will be able to make changes to ZA remotely via Teamview...
I would strongly recommend that you re-enable this option before you disconnect from the remote system.
    Hope this helps

    In
    the
    newer versions the interface
has been so completely restructured, that the "General" section, where the check mark on "Protect the Zone Alarm Client" could be removed, is no longer part of the "Overview" tab.
After a long and desperate search I finally found this:
    1. Restore Zone Alarm Control Center on the target system.
    2. Click the "Firewall"
tab on the left; make sure the "Main" section opens.
    3. Click the "Advanced"-button to open the "Advanced Settings" pop-up.
    4. Under "General Settings" check the "Allow VPN protocols" check-box.

As noted by the previous poster: these steps must be taken on the "local system", by the user requesting your support!
