    Default PVR remote control blocked

I have a Hauppauge PVR350 running GBPVR. I have recently upgraded from ZoneAlarm Suite 6.5.737 to 7.0.462. The newer version of Zone Alarm is now blocking the remote control used with the TV card, and I can't find a way of adding to an exception list, or allowing it through. I have allowed all the relevant programs full access, but the problem lies in the way it's being used. GBPVR has a setting for direct access to the remote control. This is the error message I get from GBPVR.exe log files:

The program GBPVR.exe has 'Super' access but this does not help.
    I can locate relevant .ini
and .dll files, but can't find a way of telling Zone Alarm, that they are allowed.
The remote works fine with another TV program, and works fine through GBPVR when ZoneAlarm is turned off.
Any ideas, or I'll have to roll back to 6.5!

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:7.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

    Hi!
I am not really an expert on this... but you should look everywhere in the ZA logs Tab (firewall, programs, osfirewall, etc...) for things that have been blocked by ZA and try from there to give appropriate permissions to allow communication.

You have upgraded and not clean installed the ZA 7.0.462 there may be problems in the ZA settings not correctly imported in the new version.

If this is the case, better you completely remove ZA with /clean and /rmlicense switch. Follow closely the instruction below:
    http://www2.nohold.net/noHoldCust542...an_intall.html

    and reinstall:

Hi Guru,Thanks for the prompt reply. I've already had a good look at every log. Nothing is showing as being blocked, even though clearly it is!Also, I actually did a clean install, as per the instruction, and have already done an uninstall, and reinstall, just in case. No difference.

    Hi!
then my only additional suggestion would be to contact directly ZA technical support at: www.zonelabs.com/tsform
May be other users have a better solution...
