Hi!first check that the box under ZA overview --> preferences --> "load ZA... startup" is checked. If not, please check it. If the tick box get uncheckedafter reboot than there may be a seriesof potential causes:1. ZA settings are corruptedand you may need to reset the ZAsettings database2. You are running othersecurity tools (antivirus/antispyware) that conflictswithZASS3. You have beeninfectedby malware that disable ZA1. Try to reset the ZA database. This way:1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot If you cannot find the 'reset' option it means you are on an old version of ZA.a) Download the new version from here: www.zonealarm.com/zasuitedownloadb) Shutdown your current ZASS (right click on ZA icon near the clock and choose "Shutdown ZA..."c) Install the new update and when requested choose "clean install"d) after the reboot, got to the ZA antispyware/antivirus tab and push on "update now"e) After the update you will be asked to scan your system for viruses and malware.2. Remove ZASS using the clean and rmlicense switch (see detailed instruction in the link below). Keep note of the license since it will be wiped out and remember to remove the folders detailed at the end of the document.http://www2.nohold.net/noHoldCust542...n_install.htmlNow remove also the other security toolsRun a registry and file cleaner. ccleaner does a good job and its free (http://www.ccleaner.com/download/bui...wnloading-slim)Install back ZASS you find here: www.zonealarm.com/zasuitedownload3. Download and run the following antimalware tools to be sure your system is clean of malware:http://freedrweb.com/and/orhttp://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.aspThen follow the uninstall/reinstall instruction in point 2Hope this helps.Cheers,Fax

Great! If it happens again you know how to troubleshoot the issue now... :8}If you are on an old ZASS version (earlier than 7.0.462.000) please update... there are a lot of fixes and improvements in the new version.Cheers,Fax
