Default Zone settings for home network

I have a home network with five computers set up to connect both wirelessly and via wire to my LAN.
I am having difficulty getting file sharing to work consistently.
My question is how do I set up the trusted zone so that only computers on the local side of the router are in the trusted zone while the internet side of the router stays in the internet zone?
I am runing ZA Security Suite 7.0.462.000.
My operating systems are Windows 2000 Pro and XP.

Try adding the subnet that the router uses, to the trusted zone. For example I use a Linksys and it uses 192.168.1.0 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0

Does it not cause problems for there to be the same IP address and subnet marked as Network and Internet Zone and also as Submask and Trusted?

If you have them listed in the internet zone, click on the word internet and select trusted. This will leave the internet side still in the internet. It is a different IP address, even though it also means your router.

When I installed version 7, there appeared in the Zones chart an entry for 192.168.123.0/255.255.255.0 Network Internet.
My router says it has two IP addresses, one for WAN (63.246.175.70) and one for LAN (92.168.123.254).
Which should be Internet and which should be Trusted, and where did the original entry come from?
