Make sure the file server IP is listed as Trusted in the Zones of the Firewall.
It maybe neccessary to add the IP to the Privacy and allow all (give it all green checks next to the listing).

In addition, make sure this is done:

Make sure your DNS and DHCP server IP's are in your Firewall's Trusted zone. Finding DNS and DCHP servers, etc

    1. Go to Run and type in command and hit 'ok', and in the command then type in ipconfig /all then press the enter key. In the returned data list will be a line DNS and DHCP Servers with the IP address(s) listed out to the side. Make sure there is a space between the ipconfig and the /all, and the font is the same (no capitals).
    2. In ZA on your machine on the Firewall, open the Zones tab, click Add and then select IP Address. Make sure the Zone is set to Trusted. Add the DNS IP(s) .
    3. Click OK and Apply. Then do the same for the DHCP server.
    4. The localhost (127.0.0.1) must be listed as Trusted.
    5. The Generic Host Process (svchost.exe) as seen in the Zone Alarm's Program's list must have server rights for the Trusted Zone.
Plus it must have both Trusted and Internet Access.

Extra help is found at Guru Hoov site for the DNS/DHCP.

Please give the application used (browser?) both trusted access and trusted server access (and of course also internet access if it the browser).

    Cheers.

Ok that all is done, but my problem keep on.
I uninstall ZA Internet Security Suite and install ZA Pro.Trial versionin trial version I have no problem and my connections are very quick.
For example :In ZA Pro my solution opens in 3-4 seconds. But in Internet Security Suite my solution opens in 25-30 seconds. (to fear one's hair)
    If this is a problem
in internet security suite, then can any tel me can I change my ZA Internet Security suit to ZA Pro.
    thanks.

Good chance the ZA firewall's database was corrupted and the uninstall removed that database during the uninstall and thus the new install is smoother with a new and uncorrupted database.

I don't use the ZAISS myself and instead use the ZA Pro 5.5 and the latest ZA Antispyware, so my recent experience with the the ZAISS is rather limited.

If the latest ZAISS seesm to be the problem, then uninstall it and return to a previous release. This way the license is not going to waste.

    ZAISS (for XP) is here

Just set the updater for the version to manual instead of automatic.

    Cheers.
