    Hi

The ZA was never designed to be used remotely.
Somehow having a security software that can be controlled remotely just does not seem righ or very secure.
This is probably the main point as to why it does not work very good.

To disable the Keyboard and Mouse protection of the ZA:

First open the ZA and create a .xml Backup file.
Then open the .xml file with the notepad.exe.
    Look for this:
    applications securityLevel="medium" alertOnBlock="true" denyAskIfNoUI="true" tempAllowRequiresAuth="true" moduleTracking="true" clearoldEntries="true" disableParentCheck="false" disableProcProtect="false" disableKeyboardMouseProtection="false" askOnListen="true" disableAdvProgProtect="false" enableOpenProcess="true" programDisplay="custom" enableCBP="false" disableSendMessageProtect="false" disableDNSProtect="true" askUser="false" programAdvisor="off" PAGUID="" askPA="false" osfwSetting="true" osfwEnable="true"><osfirewall majorVersion="1" minorVersion="2"

change the "disableKeyboardMouseProtection="false"" from the "false" to "true".

Close the file and then Restore the edited file into the ZA.
Now the ZA has stopped the keyboard and mouse protection.

    Best regards.

    Hello All

I just installed the newest version of ZA. At my first deep scan for viruses and spyware the ZA flagged a few Ultra VNC 1.0.5 version files. I set the preferences of the antivirus to warn me when a virus is detected, but not fix automatically. And i set up an exception for the whole C:\Program Files\UltraVNC\*.* directory so it would ignore it.

I first tried to use VNC, but with limited functionality. Will the above solution work for me if i'm just using VNC from within my home on a home network? I'm not trying to access the pc from outside my house, just inside.

Thanks for all your help, and i hope to resolve this problem.
