Running ZAISS 7.0.470.0 under Windows XP Home with all updates on an older PC (Dell Dimension 8200, 1.6GHz P-4, 2GB RAM, tons of disk space).
ZAISS's virus/spyware definitions are set to update automatically every 12 hours.
Updates occur at 9:20 a.m. and, presumably, at 9:20 p.m.
The 9:20 a.m. update is often annoying because it slows my computer to a crawl for a few minutes while it's searching for, downloading, and installing the updates, right at the time I'm usually in the middle of answering e-mails and so forth. No matter what I've tried -- switching to hourly updates, then back to daily or 12 hours, doing manual updates, etc. -- affects the 9:20 a.m. time. I've searched the registry for 9:20, hoping to change it there, but no luck.
How can I change the update time?
Thanks in advance!
