Default Used Patch - Now I sit and hit accept or deny all day

So I installed the patch and now it is running a scan. It constantly pops up a screen asking me to allow or deny a scan on some thing or other. I say remember it and allow. And it does it again and again and again and again. So after about 100 clicks where I tell it to remember the behavior and allow - it asks me again so I shut it down. It did not do this before the patch and I have not changed anything.

And by the way, when you tell me that my password doesn't meet your criteria (which you didnt tell me to begin with) why do I have to check the accept terms box again? If I had an error and I fixed the error why do I have to fix things that were fine???? Why uncheck the box when you give me an error on something else????

Hi!those errors are an indication that ZA settings are corrupted. Reset them and do NOT restore previous backups.Try this:1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after rebootCheers,Fax

Your problem seems to be related to the one I posted today about my previously set permissions being automatically changed if I allow an application access after being asked.
There is now NO DOUBT in my mind that both your problem and mine are programming issues. That being so, if there were some way to actually contact ZoneAlarm instead of just posting on this forum, it would probably be resolved within a day or two.
As it is, we just have to hope someone within ZoneAlarm will read the messages and pass the word on appropriately.
Good luck to both of us!

    Thank you, oh FAX Guru!!
That fixed my problem with the permissions being reset to Allow when I wanted them to Ask.
