Default Clicking on a an email link on IE7

When I click on an email link on IE7

ZoneAlarm (Security Suite version:7.0.483.000 TrueVector version:7.0.483.000 Driver version:7.0.483.000 ) says that I don't have permission, or something to that effect, ZA does it also when I click on certain parts of IE like View/Source.I know it is ZA doing it because when I shut it off they work fine.
What settings do I need to change to allow access to those features?
    Thanks
    Edward

Thanks for the help, but unfortunately it didn't fix the problem.
I had gone into that area before and made adjustments, and did it again using your instructions but I still get the same result.
I am using Outlook Express and when I click on an email address on a webpage it is supposed to open up and automatically address the email etc. But all I get when ZA is on is &quot;Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed&quot;. Yet when I turn ZA off it works fine. I have Outlook Express setup as you said and Internet Explorer as well.
    Any other ideas?
    Thanks
    Edward

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>If you have Send Mail with a Gree Check mark for both Outlook Express and your Browser, then there is one other thing to check..If your Accessing your Email from a Web-site, with ZASS, then you must also configure your Access Rights in the Privacy Section "Site-List"http://forum.zonelabs.org/zonelabs/b...message.id=145On the ZA Menu near the Bottom Left..is the Privacy Option that controls The "Site List" of places that you have visited with MS IE.. or FireFoxIf you have a problem accessing a Web Site, it may be because the Listing for that web Site is Listed in thePrivacy (Site List) and is trying to protect you from yourself..If you need to gain more Access to that Web Site this is one place were you Look..Click on the Privacy Tab, then Click on Site-list, then look down the list for the Web-site name,Right Click on the web-site name or address and click on "Options" a new window opens with three columns, Cookies, Ad-Blocking and Mobile Codes.. Java Script, Animation click on Reset to Default and click on Apply for each of the three columns, then clock OK..

Thanks for all the effort. I went to the section but the problem with that is that Outlook EXpress doesn't work from any sites, and those site weren;t in that list anyway.
I found the log that shows me what has happened
and this is what it said:
    :OSFW,2008/07/25,00:15:22 -4:00 GMT,BLOCKED,Internet Explorer,C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe,PROCESS,SPAWNPROCESS,SRC,C:\ PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\msimn.exe,091c14f4-c71328d4-316248a2-421190de,6-52332415-53625288-627d1da5
I looked for MSIMN in the list of programs thinking that it was the one I had to put green checks on but didn't see it on the list.
Also the timing of when that log was created coincides with when I tried to access OE from a site.
    Again, thanks for the help.

    Okay-I got it!!
It's the Outbound Protection under Programs Control/Main that when I set it to off allows me to access OE from sites and see Source etc. and when it is set even to min-stops me from that.
How important is Outbound Protection and is there a way to tell it to alllow these programs to work?
    Thanks again!

as far as Controling Outbound Email..1.) "How important is Outbound Protection" (Very Important) if you download some Hacked Game or open some infected Attachment to an Email you receive that contains a Trojan that or Keyloger or Virus, You computer could be recruted as a Zombie Computer, Cranking out 1000's of Spam Message when your not looking, and then

2.) your IPS Internet provider would have to Cancil your Internet Account if your That lucky..

3.) You could also Be fined $10,000.00 US by a Government Acency or a Federal Judge for Violating the Federal Anti-Spam law..

I suggest that You contact ZoneAlarm Tech Support Directly at Click here for ZA Support (preferably with IE7 Browser) and give them all the details of you problem, and list all other Security programs, etc that you have installed that may be a cause for your conflict..

The answer from ZA tech help, which worked, was to put IE7 trust on 3 green bars instead of the 2 that I had. Then everything worked.
    Thanks again for the help.
