Default Missing images in web browser

ZoneAlarm Security Suite 7.0.483.000 and Firefox 3.0.1

Only if I shut down ZoneAlarm can I see two of the images on a particular web page - http://www.minaguldkorn.se/text1_16.html.

With ZoneAlarm running it appears to be stripping out some of the source HTML. For example, the following section of code should be wrapped around an tag but it's GONE!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#### missing tag should be here ####

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This also happens in IE7 7.0.5730.11 but, curiously, NOT in the Windows version of Safari 3.1.2(525.21).

In Safari I can see this missing tag in the source code:
[img]files/Eton_logo.jpg[/img]

How can I prevent ZoneAlarm from behaving this way, please?

NB On submission, this messageboard removed some invalid HTML from the code I origunally inserted into the message body. There was awrapped around the and the contained an id parameter - id="8636227b-65b6-4c9c-8ca8-b86e72764725"

Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
Software Version:7.0
Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

After posting, the messageboard screwed up the HTML code that I wanted to display! How can I include code in the message body?

Sorry the direct link http://www.minaguldkorn.se/text1_16.html. ll I get is a 404 Not Found from the internet server.

However the main site http://www.minaguldkorn.se/ works ok. And once at the site, the page in question was found and functions. Unusual but not unheard of.

Image like this?

This forum does not use BB code, only html code.

Before going to the site enable the Privacy Advisor to see what the Privacy of the ZA is actually blocking. Lowering of the privacy sliders usually helps as well as cutomizing the site as listed in the Privacy - if the site is not listed, then add manually and cutomize in the Options found in the right click.
Occasionally the Parental Controls will unintentionally filter out content - disable this.
After the adjustments are done, clean the browser's cache first and only then attempt to visit the site(s).

Thanks for your reply.

As for the website link, I think you may have copied the final '.' after 'html' when pasting into your address bar, as happened in your reply below!

The missing image I'm concerned about appears after the http://www.etonshirts.co.uk/ link.
It looks like this:

.

Can you see it at the bottom of this page - http://www.minaguldkorn.se/text1_16.html and in the html source?

I forced a page re-load with Ctrl-F5 and still no image visible or in the source code.

Here's the source code I can see:

<p>
<a href="http://www.etonshirts.co.uk/" target="_blank" title="http://www.etonshirts.co.uk/">
<div style="text-align: center">
-- this is where the <img> tag should be but it's been stripped out ---
</div>
</a>
</p>

Privacy Advisor:
Cookie Control - default settings, apart from 'Block 3rd party cookies'.
Ad Blocking - High
Site List - doesn't include www.minaguldkorn.se

Parental Control was/is disabled in my ZA Suite.

(Didn't previously realise I could post HTML to this BB)

Disable the Ad Blocking and see what happens.
Even though I use the ZA Pro 5.5, I never use it's privacy and instead rely on webwasher classic and privoxy and the Opera filters files for js and css.

hey sometimes I miss noticing those little "."s

Also look at the very bottom of the Source and look for something like 127.0.0.1 in the body now added. Remove this junk from the source and then load that into the browsers in question and see if the image now appears. The ZA Privacy always drops this code into the html pages. Usually it does nothing, but sometimes it plays havoc with sites and creates errors/site problems.

I disabled Ad Blocking, cleared the cache, and the images have re-appeared - problem solved.

Now to investigate webwasher classic and privoxy... and maybe a different security solution - Kaspersky perhaps. (Are you listening Check Point?)

Thanks for your help, you Oldsod!
