Default FTP blocked from uploading cerain file type - DXF

I recently upgraded my ZA suite to 80.020.000, just to find out that when I tried to upload a .dxf file with any FTP client I have installed, it hang up the program (ftp), and/or disconnects fro the server.

The weird thing is that if I turn off any of the ZA protections, namely firewall, programs, antivirus, etc., it still prevents ftp from allowing .dxf files through. I need to quit ZA, then everything works fine.

I upgraded to 80.020.000-beta, but it made no difference.

I changed the extensions of the .dxf to .txt and anything else, but to no avail. As long as ZA iz running, they would go through FTP. Those files are in essence plain text files, however they contain some symbols such as $, (),*,{}, etc., which seems to throw off ZA, but that may not be the case - I don't know.

    Anyone with the same experience?

Turn off all Privacy settings and see if it makes a difference.
If that doesn't work, try resetting the database:
    1) Ctrl + Shift right-click on ZoneAlarm System Tray icon

    2) Click Reset in popup box

    3) Click Yes in Reset Settings dialog box

    4) Click OK when prompted to reboot

    5) Follow onscreen prompts after reboot

Appreciate the suggestions - I tried turning all my settings, privacy and the rest , still no go.

I reset the database, but still no success.

After a little more tests, here is what I was able to determine:

If I change the file's extension, it still doesn't allow me to upload it.
However, if I open the file and replace the content of the file with some normal text , than FTP has no problem with it, so my conclusion is that it's definitely something within the DXF files that trips ZA, but I have no idea how to stop ZA from looking into that kind of files.

I tried adding the extension to the list of files that the virus scan should not consider malicious, but that didn't help either.

It seems that some of the characters in the file match a virus pattern or something like that. I wish there is an option to attach files, so I can illustrate ... Below is a small chunk from a DXF - of course these files are usually thousands of lines, sometimes hundreds of thousands, so it's hard to say which is the offending line, but since ZA blocks all of them, it must be some of the more common elements, like HEADER, VIEWPORT, but wasn't any of these two ...

I hope someone who can recognize a line that may look suspicious to ZA in the example below

I just opened my ZoneAlarm Help and found a topic on FTP. It details steps you may have to take to get FTP to work with ZA. I haven't used FTP for a long time and am no expert on it.
