Default 'Network Magic' & Component Control

I have a home network with hard wired and wireless connections. 'Network Magic' is a Cisco product that makes Microsoft networking work the way you expect it to. On my network it works perfectly well with Zone Alarm. However if I turn Component Control on in Zone Alarm, Network Magic believes that the Router can no longer connect to the Internet. This is not true otherwise I would not be able to post this!

Zone Alarm is not throwing any alerts. All of the Network Magic dll that are shown in Zone Alarm's component list are marked as allowed.

Do you have any idea of how Zone Alarm is stopping 'Network Magic' from seeing that the router is connected and what can be done to fix this?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

    Hi!
which version of ZA 8 are you using, there were conflicts between Network Magic and earlier versions of ZA 8.
If you are on the latest version (ZA 8.0.059.000) the best is to report it to ZA technical support at: www.zonealarm.com/tsform

May be its a bug or may support can troubleshoot the issue.

Default 'Network Magic' Component Control Blocks Network File Sharing

I've just made the additional discovery that 'Network Magic's' network file sharing is blocked when 'Component Control' is turned on.
