Thread: Can't download into Quicken accounts

    Default Can't download into Quicken accounts

    I have now downloaded my accounts since 11/28/08 and now when I try it says "Windows cannot access the specified device,path,or file.
    You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
    When I shut down Zone Alarm I am able to download the accounts, but I HATE shutting down Zone Alarm for any reason.
    I know I must not have something set right but can't imagine what it would be since I did not change anything.

    Your ZA Firewall is doing what it is configured to do..1.) any program like Quicken need to be Confired to Access the Internet in ZA Program control / Program tab..Make sure all Quicken files listed in ZA Program control / Program Section have Three Green Bars for Super Trusted,, and three Green Check marks from the Left..for Trusted Access, Internet Access and Trusted Server Rights..2.) NOTE: Make sure all of the following Programs have Trusted and Internet access (2 Green Check Marks):a.) All Microsoft and Windows Programs have Green Check marks for Trusted and Internet Access..b.)     I reconfigured everything you told me to do but I still can't get my Quicken to download, I get the same message as before. Can you help any more?
