Default VSMON log file eating up disk space

VSMON service (and ScanningProcess) is creating the following log file:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\WMI\trace.log.
The size of the file is growing rapidly and eats up all disk space on my boot drive in no time forcing me
either to kill the process tree of VSMON
    or reboot.

This is becoming a huge annoyance.

My ZoneAlarm Security Suite version info is as follows:
    Security Suite - 8.0.059.000
    TrueVector engine - 8.0.059.000
    Driver - 8.0.059.000

I need to know is it possible to configure VSMON so that
    1. the logging is reduced and hence the log file grows much much slowly
    2. alternatively, the log file is created in a folder of my choice

    Thank You.
    Sanjib.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I did those i.e. turned off logging completely and deleted the log file.
I also killed the process and restarted it.
Since then the log file is not being created.

I'll keep monitoring and post further information in case the issue comes up.

Just an FYI for other users:

Tools that helped in tracking down the issue:
