Default Western Digital My Book World Edition - External Hard Drive

I have installed a Western Digital My World Book Edition - External Hard Drive.
In scanning for viruses or spyware, ZoneAlarm Security Suite 8.0.059.000 does recognize the external drive and the assigned drive letter of "K".
This external drive is attached to my router.
    Is this
external drive setup not supported by ZoneAlarm?
I have added the IP addresses for this drive.
    Your assistance is appreciated.

to the Zone Alarm User Forum..
It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country,
without All the Details, without the ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..
If you would Describe your Computer Setup/OS and Version of Zone Alarm that you are having a problem with
and what difficulty you are having, and what Previous Version of ZA and Norton, McAfee or other Security programs that you have installed,
there are several very knowledgeable Volunteer Participants willing to help you try solving your problem with Zone Alarm..Please provide as much detail and error messages etc. that you see on your ComputerMonitor. ========================================= I'm not sure what your asking?1.) If your External HD is attached to the Computer that you have ZoneAlarm installed on.. ZA can Scan it, I have 4 Western Digital External HD's attached via USB2 on this Computer and ZA see's and will Scan them with no problem..2.) If by "This external drive is attached to my router." you mean the External Drive is attached to your Router or to another Computer on the Network..The NO this will not work.. ZoneAlarm v8.0is a Single Computer Firewall, and does not Support SERVER Software, meaning, ZA will only protect the One Computer that it is installed on, and is designed ONLY to run on WinXP Sp3 32 Bit, or Vista SP1 32-bit.. and will not work as Surver Software to protect an entire Network..3.) Is thisexternal drive setup not supported by ZoneAlarm? as long as the "K" is phisically attached to the windows Computer with ZA installed it is Supported..4.) However, You can Not Install ZoneAlarm on "K" drive, ZoneAlarm is designed to be Installed on "C" Drive..--------------------------------------------------------
