Default ZA OSFw is blocking ZA client !?

Description Windows Explorer was prevented from changing the behavior of ZoneAlarm Pro by modifying the file: ZLDIR\zlclient.exe
    Rating High
    Date / Time 2009-01-13 12:32:50-5:00
    Type File
    Subtype File Write
    Data ZLDIR\zlclient.exe
    Program C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe
    Action Taken Blocked (once)
    Count 1
    Policy Personal Policy
    ._________________________________________.
The above is either a trick or an error.
I get this in the OSF log several times in a minute, every couple of hours. Advice?

PS: since I'm logged in to the forum, why aren't the 3 mis-sequenced Qs below automatic?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro

Hi!yes, it was posted before (quite many times). You could do a search via the red box in each ZA page. This is ZA OS firewall protecting ZA files. ZA 8 has been hardened against tampering, however it seems that now it is overly sensitive.Cheers,Fax

I just started getting this too. But only on startup and only 4 times.I searched for ZLDIR on my C drive, but didn't find anything (I'm showing hidden files and not hiding anything either).
    Just a thought:
I wonder if Explorer is trying to set the archive bit on the file?
Anyway, I just ignore the alerts.
