I am using ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite 8.0.298.000, Windows Vista x32.
When I am connected on a slow network with ZoneAlarm on, right-clicking on a folder or a file, the context menu will delay for about 30 seconds to pop-up. During the delay, the Explorer.exe freezes until the context menu pops up. The slower the network is, the longer the delay takes. This issue doesn't occur if there is no network connection or if ZoneAlarm is off.
Typically, the context menu for one of my folder contains these items: Open, Explore, Encript; Share; to Bluetooth; Restore previous versions; Combine supported files in Acrobat; Scan with ZoneAlarm Anti-viurs; Protect files, Unprotect files (TOSHIBA); Send To; Cut, Copy; Create Shortcut, Delete, Rename; Properties.
I am thinking whether it's related to the ZA firewall setting? Any idea?
