We have a 2003 server with active directories that is also our DNS.
Some clients have ZA with Virus scanning on them. I find that when I go to properties and security and try to add a user name to give them security to a folder on these XP computers the user name that is on the domain controller never can be found. There appears to be a block between the XP -> Domain Controller. I
thought that at some time in the past i had allowed port 135 in ZA and then users names
could be found
from the XP Computer. Does this make sense and are there any other ports that should be allowed. I find this really frustrating as users have the ability to add this software, but it seems ? to block this active directory info, making it hard to administer permissions for users.
