Default Need to setup virus scanner to ignore VNC application

When the anti virus process scans it always finds the VNC process and wants to quarantine the application even though I consistently ask it to override always.
How do I get the scanner to ignore this application during the scan always?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:6.5

Most anti-spyware apps I use detectWinVNC/RealVNC but shove into the ignore mode as
default. With ZA, under the Custom under Antispyware settings there should be an exceptions list somewhere (I I think).
Using my non-ZA laptop so I can't check what I just said.

I have had the free firewall for years and am trying the suite and had the same issue in VNC. I haven't used it for a year, but I went into zone alarm, anti virus/anti spyware, advance options, exceptions and entered the VNC exe file. I am assuming it won't tag it as a virus on the next scan????? However I have had the suite all of a couple of hours, so who knows what I have screwed up?
